The purpose of this Charitable Trust is to make grants for financial assistance to families or individuals who have been living in Caistor St Edmund or Markshall for at least a year, who are in need or distress.  Grants are made annually and the Trustees welcome applications from anyone who thinks they might qualify for help.

Rents collected from allotment holders and paddock holder are (after any necessary expenses) distributed, upon application, to those needy of the village.

Please note that the Parish Clerk works part-time and is contracted for an average of 6 hours per week.  The preferred communication method for enquiries is email, and the Parish Clerk will endeavour to respond within 5 working days.  The office hours are Monday to Friday 9.30am - 4.00pm, excluding Bank Holidays.  Correspondence sent to the Parish Clerk may be forwarded onto the full Parish Council and/or to individual members of the Parish Council.
